A GOOD CAST IN BAD PLAY
"Madam Tic-Tac," presented by the Brisbane Repertory Theatre in the Albert Hall last night, was entertainment of a level rather lower than that of a B-grade "quickie" film.
The badness of the play is no reflection on the actors, some of whom played well - in particular, Ken Marshment as a cold-blooded gunman.
Betty Ross was assured and accurate in her timing as a hard-bitten prostitute, with a heart of gold (of course).
The neon-lit, juke-box ridden setting was plausible enough, although most of the accents were not. Alan Denby produced the play
