Milo’s Wake
Sue Rider commissioned Margery Forde and Michael Forde to “create a play exploring the unique nature of the Irish in Australia”. The result was Milo’s Wake. Directed by Jim Vilé it was “an immediate hit with critics and audiences who praised the writing, direction, design, music and acting, particularly that of Sean Mee whose exceptional performance in the title role marked a triumphant return to the stage after ten years”.[i]
